Restaurants brace for a challenging holiday season

Miguel’s Jr CEO, Javier Vasquez, was interviewed by Fielding Buck of the Press Enterprise as part of a larger story concerning major year-end challenges for the restaurant industry.

Javier noted, “We’re just trying to give the team some breathing room” when he described why the company has temporarily shortened certain locations’ hours, closed a few locations’ dining rooms, and has been having corporate management work working shifts in kitchens to support the in-store staff.
